Product details
Presence detection for indoor use. The KNX ARGUS presence sensor detects small movements in the room and sends data telegrams via KNX to simultaneously control lighting, blinds, or heating, for example. For brightness-dependent motion detection in lighting control, the device continuously checks the brightness in the room. If there is sufficient natural light, the device turns off artificial light despite the presence of a person. The delay time can be adjusted via the ETS.
The lighting control ensures that a desired brightness level in the room is consistently maintained. Brightness is kept constant by dimming and optionally by switching a second lighting group. The IR receiver allows for individual configurations of the ARGUS presence sensor to be changed or other KNX devices to be operated remotely.
With integrated bus coupler. For ceiling mounting in a 60mm installation box, optimal use at 2.5m height. With the surface-mounted housing for ARGUS presence, it can also be mounted on ceilings.
Software functions KNX:
- Five motion/presence blocks: Up to four functions can be triggered per block. Telegrams: 1 Bit, 1 Byte, 2 Byte.
- Additionally, a lighting control block: Brightness can be maintained through dimming and a switchable additional level.
- IR receiver function. IR configuration: Setting of brightness threshold, stair light time factor, or range.
- Normal operation, Master, Slave, Monitoring, Safety pause, Lock function.
Four motion sensors: Sensitivity and range can be set separately for each sensor. Learnable stair light time. Actual brightness value: Can be detected via the internal and/or an external light sensor. Actual value correction.
