Altistart ATS 48. The Altistart 48 soft start/soft stop unit is a controller with 6 thyristors designed for torque-controlled soft starting and stopping of three-phase, asynchronous squirrel-cage motors. Drive functions: Exclusive Altistart torque control (patented by Schneider Electric), constant regulation of the torque delivered to the motor during acceleration and deceleration (significantly reduced pressure peaks), adjustable ramp and starting torque. The starter can be bypassed at the end of the starting period via a contactor, while the electronic protection remains active. High frequency tolerance for motor-generator sets. The starter can be connected in series with any winding at the motor's delta connections. Machine and motor protection functions: Integrated over-temperature protection for the motor, processing of information from PTC temperature sensors, monitoring of start time, motor preheating, protection against underloads and overloads during continuous operation. Integration functions for control systems: 4 logic inputs, 2 logic outputs, 3 relay outputs, and 1 analog plug-in I/O connector, configuration function for a second motor, easily adjustable settings, display of electrical values and load status.
