Product details

For system design, the KNX ARGUS presence sensor is ideal for indoor presence detection. It detects small movements in the room and sends data telegrams via KNX to control lighting, blinds, or heating simultaneously. The device continuously checks the brightness in the room for brightness-dependent motion detection. If there is sufficient natural light, it turns off artificial light even when a person is present. The time delay is adjustable via ETS.

Designed for wall mounting in a 60mm installation box, it is optimal for use at a height of 2.2m and features anti-creep protection. The KNX software functions include five motion/presence blocks, with up to four functions that can be triggered per block. Telegrams supported are 1 Bit, 1 Byte, and 2 Byte. The device operates in normal mode, master, slave, monitoring, security pause, and lock function.

It includes two motion sensors, with sensitivity and range adjustable separately for each sensor. The stair lighting duration is learnable, and the current brightness value can be detected via an internal and/or external light sensor, with value correction available. The detection angle is 180 degrees, with a range of 8m to the sides and 12m forward (at a mounting height of 2.20m). The mounting height can also be 1.1m with halved range.

Time is adjustable in steps from 1 second to 8 minutes (using a potentiometer) or from 1 second to 255 hours (via ETS). The device supports 6 levels and 46 zones, with 2 adjustable motion sensors. The internal light sensor is continuously adjustable from approximately 10 to 2000 Lux (via ETS), and the external light sensor connects through KNX.

It complies with EU directives: Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC and EMC Directive 2004/108/EC. The delivery includes a bus connection terminal and mounting plate, along with cover segments to restrict the detection area. The material is painted thermoplastic, and the color is Sahara.
