Product details
End current circuits protect and monitor protective switching devices such as circuit breakers or residual current devices that are used close to the consumer in end current circuits. In the event of overload, short circuit, or arc faults, they disconnect the affected circuit from the power supply. Measuring and communication-capable circuit breakers 5SL6 COM and AFDD/LS switches 5SV6 COM capture information about the switch status and faults in the circuit. With the auxiliary/fault signal switches 5ST3 COM, standard circuit breakers 5SY, 5SP4, and 5SL, as well as residual current devices 5SV3 and FI/LS switches 5SU1/5SV1, can be easily and space-efficiently expanded with measurement and communication functions. Communication-capable devices can be wirelessly connected to the data transceiver 7KN Powercenter 1000. This device collects the measurement values and transmits them for visualization and evaluation to mobile devices, PCs, or higher-level IoT interfaces, making them available for cloud applications. This increases transparency and plant safety.
The data transceiver 7KN Powercenter 1000 collects data for communication and measurement-capable circuit breakers 5SL6 COM, AFDD/LS switches 5SV6 COM, and auxiliary/fault signal switches 5ST3 COM. It communicates wirelessly within a switchgear field or installation distributor with up to 24 end devices. The measurement values are stored in the 7KN Powercenter 1000 for a period of up to 30 days. The data can be retrieved on-site via Bluetooth with a mobile device or forwarded to higher-level systems using Modbus TCP. For example, energy flows can be visualized and optimized using the energy monitoring system SENTRON powermanager. Through the IoT data platform 7KN Powercenter 3000, the collected data can be directly transmitted to a web server or cloud applications for evaluation.
