Product details

SKF self-aligning ball bearings 2RS with contact seals on both sides, 2204 E-2RS1TN9 20x 47x18

Bearing series 22
Version with cylindrical and tapered bore. Self-aligning ball bearings have two rows of balls and a common concave sphered raceway in the outer ring. They are consequently moveable angularly and insensitive to angular misalignments of the shaft relative to the housing. They are particularly suitable for bearing situations in which large shaft deflections or alignment errors can be expected. Self-aligning ball bearings also have the lowest friction of any rolling-contact bearings, allowing them to run somewhat more quietly and cooler even at higher speeds.
Main dimensions DIN 630:1993 / DIN 616:2000 / ISO 15:1998

Permissible misalignment: 1.5°

Suffixes:
E - Optimised internal construction
K - Tapered bore, taper 1:12
2RS1 - Steel sheet metal-armoured contact seals made of acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) on both sides
TN9 - Solid cage made of glass fibre-reinforced polyamide 66, ball-centred
C3 - Radial internal clearance greater than normal.
