Ensure good water drainage in the pot to prevent ice formation caused by waterlogging from cracking the container. The drainage hole should be clear and may be covered with an upward-curved piece of clay to allow for proper water flow. Place the pot on feet (available as an accessory) so that it does not freeze to the ground and water can drain freely in all directions. If possible, position the pot in a sheltered spot away from precipitation and drafts to avoid saturation and the risk of damaging ice formation. The breathable, porous material provides optimal conditions for the plants.
