Product details
Three important requirements are placed on a wooden facade: both the wood and the fasteners must be secure and durable. The installation must be quick, especially since there are numerous connection points between the cladding and the substructure on a facade. Ideally, in the event of damage, individual boards or elements should be easily removable and replaceable. Our SPAX facade screws naturally meet all three of these requirements. For quick installation, our SPAX specialties 4CUT, CUT tip, and wave profile are responsible, while the optional fixing thread ensures a strong hold. The versions of our stainless steel facade screws A2 and antique A2 guarantee reliable anchoring of the facade cladding to the substructure for many years. This means for you: the simplest and most energy-efficient installation method, no lengthy readjustment of the profile boards, and maximum safety in terms of durability and corrosion protection. To connect tongue-and-groove profiles, SPAX also offers the facade screw with a very small countersunk head for invisible fastening. The SPAX facade screw with a small head can be nearly invisibly sunk, yet still guarantees a perfect connection between profile boards and substructure wood. The precise insertion made possible by the special CUT tip reduces splitting and bulging of the wood. This means for you: no more complicated covering of visible screw heads.
