The SunSun CUP pump is a true all-rounder. This pond pump provides everything necessary to keep your pond clean.

The integrated pump ensures continuous and reliable water circulation. Additionally, a coarse filter sponge provides biologically optimal cleaning of the pond water.

A built-in 9-watt UVC clarifier is also part of this compact system. The cleaned water can be returned via the included fountain or a hose.

Why choose this system? The UVC radiation from this PL lamp kills harmful algae, bacteria, and pathogens, keeping algae growth under control. The UVC device typically ensures clear pond water within 14 days.

UVC pond clarifiers expose the pond water to UV-C radiation in a flow reactor. UVC devices alter the tertiary and quaternary structures of algae proteins through their UV radiation. The algae clump into larger particles, making them easy to remove from the water cycle through mechanical filtration in the pond filter. The lifespan of the UVC lamp is between 7,000 and 10,000 operating hours. Therefore, we recommend replacing the lamp of the UVC unit at the start of each season when the water temperature in the pond rises, and cleaning the quartz glass of the UV lamp.

SunSun has incorporated two controls into the design of the pump:
1. Inflow control: Adjust the inflow to the pond pump continuously.
2. Y-adapter with flow control: Set the water flow for the fountain continuously or optimize the inflow to the UVC clarifier/filter unit, allowing only the "excess" water to flow to the fountain. As is typical for SunSun, this adjustment is also continuous from 0-100%.
