The CBF 200U Bio Pond Filter combines mechanical and biological filtration with state-of-the-art UV technology.

This filtration system ensures a stable biological balance in large ponds and significantly improves water quality, all without chemicals. The filter provides clear water for pond sizes without fish up to 8,000 liters or with fish up to 4,000 liters. The filtration system should operate 24 hours a day to optimally support a healthy environment, lush vegetation, and the well-being of the fish.

Effective filtration is achieved through materials such as a yellow and blue sponge with varying flow rates of the pond water, a Japanese mat, and a UV-C clarifier.

In this pond biofilter system, the pond water is slowly pushed through using a pump and a suitable hose—both not included in the delivery. The filter sponges initially clean the water mechanically from coarse suspended particles and dirt on their surfaces. As the water remains in the filter media, microorganisms gradually settle, which then remove germs and bacteria from the water. The Japanese mat consists of rough individual threads based on polyester with a large surface area, which also promotes the colonization of bacteria. The integrated UV-C pond clarifier in this single-chamber system significantly enhances the effectiveness of the pond filter. Pond clarifiers irradiate the pond water with UV-C radiation in a flow reactor, altering the tertiary and quaternary structures of algae proteins and thus killing the algae.

The filtration system is also equipped with a dirt and temperature display.

The maximum water flow rate is 6,000 liters per hour.
