Filter pump / pond pump:
Experience the advantages of these pond pumps. Depending on the flow rate, they are particularly suitable for large or small ponds. To prevent overflow of the filter in conjunction with these powerful pumps, we recommend using a Y-adapter. When used as a by-pass, the performance can be split to another UVC pond clarifier or filter.

SunSun has integrated an inflow control in the design of the pump, allowing you to adjust the inflow to the pond pump continuously.

Other strengths of the CHJ pond pump series include very quiet motors and suitability for both freshwater and saltwater.

The flow rate of the pond pump must be matched to the size of the filter. An excessively high flow rate can lead to filter overflow, which should be avoided. The circulation cycle of the pond and the residence time of the water in the filter should also be considered.

The optimal circulation cycle depends on various factors: fish stock, aquatic plants, and desired water clarity. Naturally, other components of the filtration system may also need to be coordinated accordingly.
