The SwitchBot contact sensor can recognise the opening/closing of doors and windows, thus ensuring the safety of elderly people, children and pets. With the built-in light sensor, the Switchbot Bot automatically switches on the light when someone moves and the surroundings become dark. The magnets must be aligned on the underside of the housing and the distance between the two components must be less than 30 mm.

With the built-in motion sensor, the Contact Sensor recognises when you leave the house or come home and can trigger the various actions you have set in the "Scene" in the SwitchBot app. If it detects that you are leaving the house, the devices are automatically switched off, and if it detects that you are coming home, the devices are automatically switched on. (SwitchBot Hub required).
