You can work with soft pastels on various surfaces, such as paper and cardboard. It is important that the surface has sufficient texture. Therefore, it is advisable to use special pastel paper or pastel cardboard to achieve the best results. Pastel paper comes in various colors - including very dark ones - and in fine and less fine textures. Every beginning is difficult, especially when it comes to creating your own artwork.
