With this adapter, it is possible to attach the smart door lock tedee PRO to an existing locking cylinder without having to replace it. For installation, a specific key is first required, which is simply cut straight. This key serves as a link between the cylinder and the tedee PRO door lock. The two adapter parts are attached to the tedee PRO lock, then placed on the existing cylinder and secured. The adapter is compatible with all common Euro profile cylinders. A prerequisite is that the existing locking cylinder must protrude at least three millimeters on the inside of the door so that the adapter plate can be attached. Additionally, the cylinder must have an emergency and danger function, allowing the door to be locked and unlocked from the outside with a key, even when a key is already inserted from the inside.
