An advantage over an underquilt is that if you ever want or need to sleep on the ground, you can easily use your sleeping pad there as well. For the perfect lying position, the Mat Hammock also includes an integrated ridgeline. A movable pocket for small items like travel literature, smartphone, headlamp, or glasses hangs from the ridgeline. The ridgeline can be easily tensioned from the inside using a whoopie sling mechanism.
