This Traco 15W DC/DC converter is regulated, isolated, and part of the THN15WI series. It features high power density, a compact design, and a wide input voltage range. The converter modules are designed for high efficiency, allowing for an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Typical applications include battery-powered devices, mobile instrumentation, and distributed power architectures in communications and industrial electronics. The ultra-miniature package measures 25.4 x 25.4 x 9.9 mm and offers a very wide input voltage range of 4:1. The outputs are regulated, and the output voltage can be adjusted using external resistors. There is isolation between input and output of 1.5 kV, with high efficiency up to 87%. The converter features low ripple and noise, an integrated filter that complies with EN 55022 Class A and FCC Level A with an external capacitor, remote on/off capability, and overvoltage, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection. It comes in a shielded metal housing with an insulated baseplate and standard pinout.
