This feature creates the sensation of not wearing hearing protection, allowing for active participation in the surroundings while still wearing the ear protection. Communication in close proximity is possible, and warning signals can be perceived more effectively. The volume of the transmitted ambient sounds can be individually adjusted in five levels. This ensures that there is no excessive attenuation, even with low background noise starting from 85 dB. Quiet levels below 82 dB can even be amplified. To ensure safe hearing protection, the maximum output level is limited.
