Reconditioning a lead-acid battery: A lead-acid battery that has not been sufficiently charged or has been left in a discharged state for days or weeks deteriorates its performance due to sulfation. If the process is stopped in time, sulfation can be partially reversed by charging the battery at a low current until a higher voltage is reached.

Function for restoring fully discharged batteries: Most chargers with reverse polarity protection do not recognize a battery that has been discharged to zero volts or nearly zero volts, and therefore do not recharge it. However, the Blue Smart IP65 charger attempts to recharge a fully discharged battery at a low current and resumes the normal charging process once sufficient voltage has built up across the battery terminals.

The VictronConnect app allows you to set, display, and configure your Blue Smart IP65 charger using your smartphone. With the VictronConnect app, you can view the status of your charger and battery, and even control the functions of your charger. By default, voltage and current are displayed on the screen.
