The different tappings determine how many speakers can be connected to an amplifier when using a 100V commercial amplifier. Different tappings allow installers to connect various quantities of speakers to different amplifiers. The total power of the installed speakers should match the power of the amplifier. 

For example, if the rated power of the amplifier is 300 watts and you want to install 20 speakers, you can connect to the 10 watts tappings and 15 watts tappings. 10 x 20 = 200 watts, 15 x 20 = 300 watts. The 30 watts tapping is for connecting fewer than 10 speakers.
