The VC-541 current clamp from VOLTCRAFT allows for the safe and efficient detection of leakage currents starting from 100 μA AC. In differential current measurement, which corresponds to the principle of a residual current device (RCD), all active conductors of a circuit are enclosed together by the leakage current clamp. Ideally, the clamp should not display any value when no leakage current is flowing. The 3-1/2-digit LC display with 1999 counts and black LED backlighting ensures clear and easy readability of the measurement results. The data hold function allows for freezing the measurement values if the display cannot be read during the measurement process.
