Forward/Backward Counter with intrinsic safety. The counter captures binary pulses with NAMUR-compliant levels at the input CLK (CLOCK) and transmits the counter value to the installed bus system. The counting direction can be set to either forward or backward mode via the U/D (Up/Down) input. Using a control byte, both the counter and the digital output DO can be set and reset. Additionally, a threshold value can be defined, exceeding which will activate the output DO. The output is designed to be short-circuit proof. Operating modes: Forward counter with enable input. Forward/Backward counter with U/D input. Frequency counter with enable input. Time gate counter. Indicators: Green LED (Status U/D (Gate) + Status CLOCK + Status DO). Red LED (Error U/D (Gate) + Error CLOCK). Field and system levels are galvanically isolated.
