With blueglobe®, Weidmüller has added a cable gland from Pflitsch to its portfolio that impresses with safety and functionality. It features a large sealing range from 1.5 to 77 mm through removable inlets with only 11 cable glands, high tightness, excellent strain relief, and a guided, pre-installed O-ring. These are the characteristics of the blueglobe® cable gland, which Weidmüller offers in brass and stainless steel. The core component of the blueglobe® cable gland is the spherical sealing insert, which compresses the cable broadly and gently. This permanently avoids the cutting notch effect typical of lamellar systems.
