Overvoltage protection. Measure, control, and regulate. Overvoltage protection with individual components and suppressor diodes. Suppressor diodes operate similarly to conventional tens diodes. After exceeding a breakdown voltage set by the manufacturer, the diode becomes conductive within 10 to 100 picoseconds. Compared to tens diodes, suppressor diodes have a higher current-carrying capacity and a shorter response time.
