The X-Series desoldering soldering irons feature an improved attachment system for the suction nozzle compared to traditional desoldering irons. Instead of a screw thread, the X-Series uses an eccentric design as a quick-change system. With a simple twist (approximately 90°), the suction nozzles can be easily and quickly changed. The transition between the heating element and the suction nozzle ensures optimal heat transfer due to its conical design. Combined with an 80-watt heater, these desoldering irons are particularly suitable for solder joints with high heat requirements.

The desoldering irons come with an external tin collection container for desoldering SMD components. They provide the same working posture as conventional soldering irons, an electronic temperature control, and a micro finger switch to activate the responsive vacuum pump. Various suction nozzles are available.
