Product details
Time-saving: Quick voltage testing through non-contact measurement. Efficiency: Thanks to the internationally adapted measuring tip, the voltage tester can be used with all sockets worldwide. Eases your work: The integrated LED flashlight ensures optimal lighting conditions and simplifies the electrician's tasks in challenging situations. Flexibility: The voltage tester covers a wide voltage range from 12 to 1,000 V AC. Application: For detecting and locating live conductors, cable interruptions and breaks, blown fuses, defective lamps in light strings, and single wire detection. Before starting any electrical installation, electricians must ensure that the work environment is free of voltage. To test electrical alternating fields or locate suspected sources of error, a voltage tester is required. An initial indication of whether there is voltage present can be obtained with the non-contact Wiha voltage tester thanks to its optical and acoustic signals. After switching on, the permanently green LED indicates readiness for use. During voltage testing, the LEDs light up from blue (weak) to orange and red (strong) depending on the strength of the electrical alternating field. Two AAA batteries are required for operation, which are included in the delivery. If the device is not used for 4 minutes, it automatically turns off to save energy. An integrated LED flashlight allows for lighting the measurement points in dark environments and can be used as a flashlight by manually turning it on and off. The voltage tester with clip fits comfortably in any shirt or pants pocket due to its handy size. The single-pole voltage tester complies with the EN 61010-1 / IEC 61326 standard and is designed for CAT IV 1,000 VAC.
