The motorised or motorised zone valves of the DQ225 series are supplied as a compact ball valve unit, consisting of a valve body with attached control unit. The servomotor actuates the ball valve.
The valve body is made of forged brass. In the event of a power failure, the valve can be closed or opened manually with an open-end spanner after removing the control unit.

The zone valve is equipped with limit contacts that stop it in the "fully open" or "fully closed" end position.

Zone valves are used for drinking water, heating, hot water and air conditioning systems in conjunction with "open/close" controls. 2- and 3-way valves have a wide range of applications and can be used, for example, for

1. room temperature zone control of heating systems.
2. control of air conditioning systems, fan heaters or similar individual air conditioning units.
3. control of heating and hot water systems.

Zone valves are controlled by air or water thermostats.
The setting time is 15 seconds.

Installation:
The zone valve can be mounted in all positions with the exception of positions where the control unit is below the horizontal plane. The applicable TÜV and VDE regulations must be observed during installation.
