The replacement diaphragm for most common 20 and 24 litre diaphragm pressure boilers, as used in sanitary cold/hot water systems, domestic waterworks, solar and pressure maintenance systems and garden pumps. The diaphragm is made of butyl rubber and is therefore suitable for drinking water.

Butyl rubber:

This rubber belongs to the elastomer group. The plastic is characterised by its resistance to hot air, weathering and the influence of ozone. The elastomer has low gas permeability, good chemical resistance and very good damping properties against vibration and impact energy up to 100 °C.

In the low temperature range, butyl rubber remains elastic down to -70 °C. The main areas of use and application for butyl rubber are air hoses and tyre liners, heating bellows, steam hoses and tank linings. Other applications include films, membranes and unvulcanised sealing compounds and tapes.

Butyl rubber is also known as IIR (isobutene-isoprene rubber).
