The float switch from WilTec is a hollow float and works according to the buoyancy principle.

This hollow float is lifted by the rising liquid until a switching operation is triggered at an angle of 50° to the horizontal. The float switch can be suspended in the liquid through a screw connection at the side or, in the case of open containers, from above.

The switching point can be optimised using the standard weight.
The float is suitable for monitoring the level of almost all liquids that do not corrode its material, regardless of the degree of contamination. You can use the float switch as a full or empty indicator, to control pumps and valves or for alarm signalling.
Suitable for almost all pumps, equipped with 5m cable.

If your pump has an output of more than 1.1 kW, you should connect a commercially available power contactor or an appropriate power relay upstream. With a 380V power contactor, 380/400V three-phase pumps can also be controlled.
