Product details

The replacement boiler for use in sanitary cold/hot water systems is suitable for almost all domestic waterworks, solar and pressurised water systems as well as garden pumps.

This 100-litre pressure vessel is supplied with an EPDM membrane. The boiler is designed for a maximum pressure of 5.4 bar and is supplied in a vertical design. The manufacturer tests the tank for leaks at a water pressure of up to 5.4 bar.

The diaphragm boiler has a connection of 32.89-33.25 mm (old: 1 inch). In addition, the pressure vessel has an integrated valve to control or regulate the back pressure for the membrane. These pressure vessels are welded from quality steel sheets in accordance with UNI-EN standards and are fitted with a heat and ageing resistant EPDM membrane. The EPDM membrane is easy to replace.

About the inlet pressure in the diaphragm vessel: The inlet pressure should be approx. 0.1-0.2 bar below the switch-on pressure of the pump and must be checked at regular intervals. Failure to do so may result in damage to the EPDM diaphragm of the pressurised diaphragm vessel. A more precise calculation can be made using the formula "Pump switch-on pressure x 0.9". Example: Switch-on pressure at the pressure switch of the domestic water unit is set to 1.5 bar: 1.5 bar x 0.9 = 1.3-1.4 bar.

Important: The boiler pressure should only be pumped up or released when the pressure on the water system has been released. Caution: Before opening a diaphragm boiler, be sure to release the air and water pressure.
