A high-quality PTO shaft is an essential element in agriculture, as it transmits the tractor's power to various agricultural implements.

In order for the PTO shaft to be connected to the tractor and the implement, a coupling is required that transmits the tractor's power to the shaft and allows it to rotate. The shaft in turn transfers the kinetic energy to the agricultural implement. However, if the implement continues to rotate when the PTO drive has been switched off (e.g. drum mower or mulcher), a special overrunning clutch is required to prevent the PTO shaft from being overloaded by continuing to rotate by not transferring the torque to the stub of the PTO shaft.

Thanks to its standard size, the one-way clutch fits all commercially available PTO shafts. To ensure that you find the right clutch, please note the specified technical data and check whether it matches that of the PTO shaft, the tractor and the attachment.

• Ensure that nobody is in the vicinity of the PTO shaft while it is in operation.
