Tires are designed to deform elastically under the weight of the vehicle. However, when left stationary for extended periods, they can deform to the point of developing flat spots. This is where the XPOtool tire savers come into play.

Especially in sports and luxury vehicles with longer idle times, tire deformation can occur because the weight of the car constantly presses down on the same spot on the tires. This leads to the formation of so-called flat spots, which can cause imbalance and tire damage, often felt as vibrations in the steering wheel.

Owners of motorhomes, classic cars, or sports cars are familiar with this issue. Such vehicles are typically only driven in the summer and remain parked in the garage during the fall and winter. To prevent deformation and tire damage, it is advisable to place a tire saver in front of or behind each wheel, then slowly drive the vehicle forward or backward onto the tire savers, ensuring the vehicle rests in the tire bed.

The tire savers feature a soft surface on which the vehicle's wheels rest. The tires slightly compress into the tire savers instead of forming flat or flattened spots on the hard ground. In the tire bed, the tires deform much less.

The tire bed is suitable for tire sizes ranging from 13 to 18 inches. In addition to counteracting tire deformation, the tire bed offers the advantage of securely stabilizing the vehicle in place.

The tire savers are made from durable plastic (HDPE) with a profiled surface. Their dimensions are 440 × 200 × 40 mm. They are reusable and, due to the material, highly resistant to oil, gasoline, or acid. Additionally, they can be easily cleaned after use.
