Product details
Tile spacers are the optimal tool for laying tiles evenly and avoiding unevenness. The spacers are combined with the corresponding wedges to achieve a perfect result. The tile spacer is placed in the joint, and after the adjacent tile is laid, the wedge is pushed through the spacer using a special pliers. The wedge is pressed through the spacer until both tiles reach the same height level.
Now, all that is left is for the tile adhesive to cure, and the tiles are positioned and leveled correctly. Afterwards, the wedges can be pulled out of the spacers and are reusable. The spacers, on the other hand, have predetermined breaking points, which are used after the adhesive has cured to break off the visible part of the spacer. The lower part remains between the tiles and is grouted, making it invisible after grouting.
The width of the joint depends on the material thickness of the spacer. In this case, the spacer has a thickness of 1.5 mm, resulting in a joint width of also 1.5 mm. To allow for larger areas to be tiled, each bag contains 100 spacers. The spacers are suitable for tiles with thicknesses ranging from 3 to 12 mm.
