Yuasa has permanently improved its NP series for stationary industrial batteries, ensuring that users acquire a mature and commercially established product that has proven its reliability in various applications. Lifetime: approximately 3-5 years according to Eurobat. Sony NP batteries can be operated permanently in a lateral position. The impact and breakage resistant plastic housing is made of ABS. The batteries have type-wise VdS/UL approvals. The electrolyte is bound in glass fiber fleece (AGM technology). They feature corrosion-resistant high-performance grid plates with a lead-calcium alloy. This results in a long life with low self-discharge (3% per month at 20° C).
