Alpine White vs. Pure White
In Switzerland, white alpine or alpine white was normally used for sanitary appliances. Pure white is only used in rare cases. The colour pure white is lighter than white alpine. If white alpine appliances are repaired with pure white, the area is technically repaired, but the repaired area is lighter than the rest of the article.
Unfortunately, sanitary colours are not standardised like e.g. RAL or Pantone shades. Cramer products try to achieve the broadest possible match of sanitary colours using the original templates from leading manufacturers. If a bathtub is not older than 15 years, the colour 080 White Alpine (greyish white, almost light grey) is usually the right one. Older bathtubs are often much whiter. In this case, the best colour is 002 Pure White.
Small tip: Place a white sheet of paper in the bathtub. If the colour of the bathtub now appears much darker (greyer), you have a White Alpine bathtub. Alpine White has a market share of about 90% among the white tones.
2. Dupli-Color Magnetic Paint
DUPLI-COLOR Magnetic Paint is a water-based interior paint. The paint contains iron pigments that allow magnets to adhere to the paint. This results in a wide range of applications in kindergartens, schools, offices, children's rooms, etc. If the paint is applied in sufficiently thick layers, the paint can be painted over with any dispersion varnish or even glued over with a thin wallpaper - the attraction for magnets remains intact.
Overspraying with DUPLI-COLOR sprays is also possible.
