I bought them to put on a 2008 Lexus and it's perfect. At the time, the shape (a sort of trapezoid) of the bars was all the same, I think. This item is excellent value for money. Hisses a bit because of the throat underneath but a bit of US tape and it's sorted.

I would buy. The clamp is primarily attached at the side and doesn't need much space at the bottom.

They must be. I've only tested them on a Seat Ateca, but the fixing system is very flexible and easily adapts to different types of roof bars.
