Question about Shelly Flood WiFi flood & temperature sensor
Can the Shelly also be used outdoors, in a light well? Does it rain even with raindrops? We would like to monitor the light well with regard to the return flow until everything inside the floor is set correctly, simply to have a little more security

Yes, it can be installed outdoors and no, it does not recognise individual raindrops. It is a flood sensor, not a rain sensor.
No I would not put it outside. It is not IP55.
But I must say it works very well
Raindrops alone probably not. The Shelly has 3 contacts on the underside. If these are connected by conductive water, it reacts.
It should therefore also be placed on a flat surface where a lake forms.
If the light well has stones, it is not suitable.
