Can you use the vacuum cleaner to suck in branches that are approx. 4cm long and a few mm in diameter without the appliance clogging up? Our Dyson V12 has a lot of trouble with the gnawing waste from our chinchillas.

Difficult to say: there is no section on this topic in the operating instructions.
From my point of view, purely in terms of performance, this hoover would also be able to suck in such small branches, but the pipe could become blocked. One advantage is that the solid plastic tube (approx. 50cm long, approx. 26mm inner diameter) is removable, so it would be relatively easy to unclog if it gets blocked. However, it is essential to empty the filter regularly.

I have my doubts that would work. In fact any small hoover would likely struggle with that task.

Since it has a rubber membrane, I'm pretty sure it can't do that. (Personally, I wouldn't buy the hoover again).

In terms of the power of the appliance, I would have said yes, it can do that. But I think the way the hose and collection chamber are designed, the appliance is not suitable if you want to vacuum several branches at the same time. I use it for vacuuming the car and clearing my dogs' hair in the car.
hair in the car. TOP for that. I wouldn't really know if it's ideal for your needs. Pieces of branches can generally be a challenge for many vacuum cleaners if there are a lot of them.
