Does anyone know what it is like to install this product in a semi-detached house? Do I need permission or the consent of the neighbour to install the system? The current doorbell is oriented in such a way that you can see both entrances.

I would certainly discuss this with your neighbour. If necessary, you can set the alert zones so that your neighbour's side does not trigger a recording when there is movement. But if there is movement on your side, his side will also be recorded.
