For the Ecovacs Goat O500 Panorama, the WLAN (Wi-Fi) is only required for installation and set-up. The connection is first made via Bluetooth to pair the robot lawnmower with the app, then the Wi-Fi is set up to control the robot in the app and make settings. A permanent Wi-Fi connection is not required for normal operation, as the robot lawnmower also works without a constant internet connection.
