Hello I live in Switzerland and already have an Olympia Protect 9061 system, which is GSM, i.e. 2G compatible. Now the 2G network has been switched off in Switzerland and my alarm system can no longer send alarm notifications to external telephones. Question: Is Olympia ProHome designed for the following networks? UMTS - 3G LTE - almost 4G LTE Advanced - 4G etc. Are the door & window contacts, motion detectors, outdoor sirens from Protect 9061 also compatible with ProHome?

Unfortunately, the ProHome also only has a 2G module, which is no longer used in Switzerland or has been switched off. The door/window contacts already in use from the previous model are compatible.

I had the same problem and initially bought the Olympia ProHome 8700. Although it worked during installation, it kept going offline and then stopped sending me messages. I made a complaint about this device.
I then bought the Olympia ProMini. It is connected to the Internet via my WLAN and reliably sends the desired notifications via the Internet. However, you need an internet-enabled mobile phone and the app on your mobile phone. All existing door and window contacts, smoke detectors and water detectors could be connected to the ProMini without any problems.

The outdoor siren and door contacts, motion detectors should be compatible. If you have the alarm system with Wi-Fi, you can forward the alarm to your mobile via Wi-Fi.
