Should/must the lamp only be switched on with the app? Or can it also be switched on with a normal light switch and how does it then behave, i.e. is the last setting (colour/brightness etc.) saved?

The luminaire can be switched on and off with the light switch. It then always lights up "white bright". It can only be controlled with the HUE dimmer switch and app.
