On the one hand, you need a suitable 2 Din radio cover (actually the holder so that the radio is fixed in the slot) for your car model and for the Pionner radio. Here you need to pay attention to the dimensions of the radio and the positions of the fixing screw holes on the radio. There are models where you can still adjust the bracket yourself, but there are models where the position is already fixed.

However, you may be able to use the existing bracket from the current radio.
However, if you still have the original radio or another customised radio, you will need a radio cover because this Pioneer radio was built to work in as many cars as possible. In comparison, an original radio or a customised radio is already made to fit the car and is therefore easy to install.

The other thing you need is a CAN-BUS Iso adapter for Seat cars. As the plug from the radio does not fit the connector on the car. In addition, the adapter filters the appropriate signals from the car signal so that the radio recognises, for example, when you have pulled the handbrake, engaged reverse gear or the radio switches itself on and off when the ignition is switched on.

Here too, there are different models and, for example, the simple, cheap models only have the minimum functions. This Pionner radio also only requires the minimum functions such as ignition plus, reverse gear detection, handbrake detection.
