What tap thread size (21mm? 26.5mm?) does this attach to on the top? Can it be attached directly to one of the small Gardena nozzles instead of a threaded tap (for example, between 2 hoses?)? This information is nowhere I can find.

Hi, it uses the bigger one. I think an adapter was even available in the set, but you need a wider pipe which I had to buy for 12chf). It may be a problem if you want to unplug it and connect your old pipe as you always need adapters). But apart of this the set works great (have been using it since 3 months now)
