When buying these filters, is the 3M6800 mask functional or do you still need to buy a bracket to attach the filters?

There should normally be a bracket that fits the filter, which is already supplied with the mask. In addition, the mask description indicates that the mask comes with the necessary bracket to attach the filter: 3M Full Face Mask 6800

So I would say that there is no need to buy anything other than the mask and the filter :)
