Because who really knows if Bert Brecht and Karl Valentin shared the stage with the sketch 'At the Oktoberfest' before or after an old Western movie hero became President of the USA? Anno Domini is different! Here, know-it-alls have no chance, as it's not about precise knowledge or answering questions. Instead, each player tries to get rid of all their cards – featuring the most peculiar events – as quickly as possible. To do this, players must lay down their cards in the center of the table in a way that puts the events in the correct chronological order. However, the events are often so bizarre that only a strong bluff can help. Each player takes turns adding a new event to the chain until one player expresses doubt, at which point the chain is checked. Those who were wrong must draw penalty cards from the pile, which they also need to get rid of. ... and with the next chain of events, the doubts of the other players grow. The simple game mechanics and the quirky events guarantee long-lasting and always varied fun! The series are sorted by themes, but the scope within each theme is broad. Of course, each series can be played on its own. However, the game gains an additional appeal when the series are mixed.
