Product details
The Breuer IV was the fourth series model of the lightweight shunting locomotive developed by the German company H. Breuer & Co since 1913. This variant was designed in the 1920s, and it is estimated that around 120 units were produced in Germany by 1943, with additional examples manufactured under license in various European countries, including Italy, Austria, Finland, Denmark, and Czechoslovakia. Throughout its production and use, the Breuer IV underwent various updates that ultimately led to the development of model V. These differences are also the reason for discrepancies between the various preserved examples in museums and the vehicles documented in reference photos. This 1:35 scale kit includes optional parts that allow for the representation of several modifications observed on the real vehicles, some of which remained in service until the 1980s. Also included are a 19 cm long track section and a figure of a Reichsbahn worker. Main features of the kit: - over 150 plastic parts for the shunting locomotive and a track section - optional parts for different variants - 1 figure of a railway worker - 2 painting/marking options.
