Men at Work is a family game for 2-5 players, where players need a steady hand. The building components can only be touched with one hand. First, the game board is set up by placing three steel beams on supports so that they do not touch the playing surface. Then, a worker figure is placed on one of the steel beams, and each player receives three safety certificates. Players then take turns drawing cards from the blueprint stack. These blueprints indicate what needs to be built next. Sometimes, additional components such as supports, beams, bricks, and construction workers must be added. If a player has an accident, causing something to fall or collapse, the active player loses one of their safety certificates. Those who perform particularly well can be declared the "Construction Worker of the Month." In the end, the player who is the last construction worker to still have a safety certificate or who has been awarded "Employee of the Month" the most times wins. The game can be played in three different variants.
