Each player receives 5 cards. When it's a player's turn, they must discard a card to advance. If a player lands on a tile, various actions can be taken. For example, Sauron may need to move forward or attack an enemy. If the latter is the case, the player takes an enemy card and sees what is needed to defeat the enemy. If they have the right resources in their cards, the enemy can be defeated. If not, Sauron moves forward. To win, all players must reach Mount Doom before Sauron. If Sauron arrives at the end before all players, he wins. So be quick!.
