This item is an injection-molded plastic figure kit. The latest addition to Bandai's "Plannosaurus" model building series is the Therizinosaurus, a large theropod from the late Cretaceous period. This series encourages you to learn more about dinosaurs by assembling them yourself from the skeleton up. Start with the skeleton assembly, where you piece together the dinosaur skeleton bit by bit; the dinosaur assembly then allows you to attach the outer skin parts to the skeleton. No pliers or glue are required, making it easy to assemble.

The outer skin of the Therizinosaurus features feathers all over its body, including flight feathers on the arms and well-developed tail feathers, which were supposedly used for courtship and intimidation. Unlike other theropods, the heavy Therizinosaurus also had the tips of its thumbs touching the ground.
