This high-tech foam material is an ideal alternative to traditional rubber tires with tubes and casings for the Berg Buzzy. Thanks to its composition, the EVA tire is just as wear-resistant as standard rubber tires, but flat tires are a thing of the past. The Berg Buzzy features a solid connection between the front pedal axle and the rear axle. This means that the movement of the legs is directly translated into the movement of the rear wheels. As a result, the Berg Buzzy is exceptionally easy and light to ride, both forwards and backwards.

With its four wheels, the Berg Buzzy offers excellent stability. Since tricycles have one less wheel, they are very unstable and prone to tipping over. Sharp or fast turns on a tricycle can easily create dangerous situations. In contrast, the wheel lines of the Berg Buzzy run parallel and further away from the rider. This makes tipping over nearly impossible.

In a tricycle, the pedals (and thus the feet) and the handlebars (and thus the hands) are directly connected to the front wheel. However, in the Berg Buzzy, the pedals are connected to the frame. No energy is lost when the handlebars or pedals turn away as the child pedals or steers. The child can simply and effortlessly take off after getting on.
