Codenames Duet is a sequel to the award-winning Codenames, specifically designed for two players. The game is a cooperative mission with multiple difficulty levels. Codenames Duet gives two people the chance to try a team challenge – they must identify their agents. It retains the same elements of the award-winning Codenames game: you must give a one-word clue to help others identify your agents (words) based on the cards on the table. Now you work together to find agents for both players.

If you’re looking for an extra challenge, the game is accompanied by an increasingly complex campaign that will last more than one game session. Players take turns giving one-word clues while the other player tries to guess the word based on the cards currently on the table. The goal for both players is to help each other find the "correct" words among the 25 provided cards. Players either win or lose together.

Players may only hint at one word and one number per turn: the word should be associated with more than one word on the cards, and the number should indicate how many cards are connected to that word. Unfortunately, you have a limited number of turns, which makes the game even more engaging and dynamic.
